Jose Daniel Duarte to attend the Imagine 2018 Magento Global eCommerce Conference to gain insight on the web’s most powerful e-store platform: Imagine

Magento Inc. is holding its Imagine 2018 Magento Global eCommerce Conference April 23-25 at the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas.  The annual gathering is moving into its eighth successful year as the place to be for those in the global eCommerce community.  It brings together more than 3000 experts from 50 different countries in eCommerce, from merchants to technology producers, who descend on Vegas to share information, collaborate and advance the eCommerce industry.  Costa Rica’s premiere eCommerce specialist, Jose Daniel Duarte Camacho, will be there to provide his expertise and knowledge to other industry leaders.

Duarte is a well-known and well-respected business leader in Costa Rica, as well as in other parts of the world.  His strong business acumen has allowed him to successfully start several brick-and-mortar companies, as well as a variety of top-producing eCommerce sites.  “Being an innovator means staying on top of changes in the industry,” he explains.  “Opportunities such as Imagine are fundamental to help not only my businesses grow on a domestic level, but to pursue growth on an international scale, as well.”  

The entrepreneur launched his successful career over 20 years ago when he opened his first operation in Heredia, Costa Rica.  The business, DecoCar, sparked Duarte’s journey into business and is still thriving today.  Because it is able to support itself, the freedom has allowed him to concentrate on other projects while managing an oversight role in operations.   Now that it has evolved into a self-supporting activity, he has since expanded into an array of commercial interests, proving him to be a successful businessman at home and abroad.  Duarte recently returned from the Ad:Tech London conference.  Ad:Tech is an opportunity for heads of media operations to learn about trends, tactics and technologies that are occurring throughout the world.  

In 2017, attendees enjoyed presentations by marketing leaders such as Stephane Berube, CMO for L’Oreal, Pete Blackshaw, Global Head of Digital and Social for Nestle and Brendon Eich, founder of Mozilla.  In total, more than 120 business heads were on hand to provide insight into the changing dynamic of marketing.  Of that event, Duarte stated, “Our group always strives to be a vanguard organization that produces material based on advanced, forward-thinking creatives.  Participation in Magento’s Global eCommerce Conference is an excellent way for us to gather new resources and ensure that we can meet this goal.”  

Apart from his business interests, Duarte was also hand-picked to become a partner and Commercial Director of marketing company DLB Group Worldwide.  DLB is an internationally-recognized marketing company with offices in Venezuela, Mexico and, with Jose’s appointment, Costa Rica.  Duarte was hand-picked by Larry Hernandez, the founder of DLB, to head operations in Costa Rica, and has been responsible for negotiating major contracts with companies like DirectTV, Audi, Subway and DHL.

This year’s Imagine conference will offer seminars by several industry professionals.  In addition to a keynote address by Mark Lavelle, Magento CEO, attendees will be able to mingle with experts such as Elizabeth Davies and Courtney Heitman of Gallup, as well as Joshua Warren, CEO of Creatuity.  The three-day event will offer many networking and breakout opportunities designed to create stronger bonds among those in the global eCommerce community.
